SUPERFOLIE is a sophisticated hole-in-the-wall wine bar with electric energy in downtown Philly. We were tasked with taking a second generation space that used to be a European cafe and re-confgire it for the owner as a playful French wine bar. The existing 3/4” thick reclaimed white floors from Provenance served as the base to build off of. The space has 18’ ceilings with a custom fabricated mezzanine and the original historic arched lead glass window above the facade. The designer chose a white oak wrapped bar front, custom La Bastille curved zinc bare top, oak back bar tops, brass details, leathered marble table tops, board and batten wainscotting, white oak banquettes with green leather upholstery and a sophisticated and timeless paint scheme. We work with plumbers who are intimately familiar with Philadelphia health code and understand the unique requirements that food and beverage clients need in order to execute their vision.
