This designated historic building has been renovated several times and was not fulfilling its potential. Located only one block from Rittenhouse Square we completed a comprehensive remodel of the entire interior. We gutted the whole building and did extensive changes to the layouts on the west side of the building. In taking advantage of lost dead space, crawl space and other inefficiencies we were able to add one additional unit and raise some ceiling heights by as much as three feet. We installed a new water main, sprinkler system, central air HVAC system in every unit as well as completely new electrical wiring and panels. The only modification to exterior aside from some restoration of the existing historic windows was the installation of a brand new custom store front made out of durable mahogany. We managed the approval process from start to finish with the Historic Comission and the work was completed by expert historic carpenters. The finish work includes 8" white oak floors, white quartz countertops, Restoration Hardware light fixtures, a new skylight, frameless glass shower doors and exposed original brick walls and wood support beams. The building is finally living up to its potential and provides luxury living in the historic and vibrant heart of Philadelphia's most desirable neighborhood.
